It’s easy to overlook Needs Analysis. It isn't glamorous. It’s not flashy. But if it isn’t done — and it’s not done right — eventually it shows. And it isn’t pretty.
That’s why we always begin there. We believe that it is critical to get the foundation correct before you ever begin to build the superstructure. The building may go up faster without doing all the prep work, but it falls a lot faster, too.
It doesn’t matter whether
you are talking about web development or print design. In order
for us to do our job, we need
to analyze how you do your
job.
It is critical that we understand
who you are, what you do and
how you do it. We must have
a clear vision of who you are
trying to reach and how you
are meeting their needs. Without
that firm understanding, the
rest is meaningless.
So we make it a point to
take time up front to ask a
lot of questions until we are
certain we get it. If we don’t
get it, we can’t help
others get it, either. If we
don’t understand what
you are talking about, we’ll
never be able to help you be
understood. That’s communication — and
that is the business we are
in. Anyone who tells you otherwise
doesn’t know what they
are talking about.
We start with Needs Analysis because when it comes to your website, we believe everyone who visits has a “Need to Know.”
