eCommerce is a hot item. To many, it simply
means selling things via the internet —
putting a catalog of items on line, facilitating
purchases for the buyer. Its fast; its
easier for the buyer. Its a win/win situation.
For sure, it is that
— but that's only part of it. There can
be so much more to it. The web provides
an easier way to conduct transactions,
but it also offers opportunities for new
ways of doing business.
Sales people can be trained, inventories
can be updated, cataloges can be altered,
partners can share information, project
teams can coordinate efforts, print materials
can be revised and the list goes on. In
fact, the only limits may be self-imposed.
Creative minds are finding new and increasingly
more imaginative ways of using the web
to do business. We've found that it never
hurts to ask or to test the limits. That's
called progress.
Any ideas? Let’s talk about it.
